About Me
- Name: MOWATINUN
- Location: Beirut, Lebanon
Mission Statement: Mowatinun (“Citizens”) is a non-profit organization established by a group of Lebanese citizens immediately after Israel’s first air raids on Lebanon. Our aim is to provide help and relief to the refugees who fled the regions under attack as well as to strengthen solidarity between the citizens of Lebanon regardless of political or religious affiliations. Mowatinun has already started efficient relief operations, maintaining a steady flow of supplies to families in need, thanks to the financial support of Lebanese, Arab and international contributors. We are directly providing basic supplies for hundreds of families located in schools in Beirut and its suburbs. Also, an entertainment unit for children has been created in order to help them overcome these difficult times.
